Daily Table

Daily Table is a nonprofit grocery chain based in Boston, MA dedicated to providing fresh food at affordable prices. In 2023, the organization put out a call to local muralists to create a welcoming and bright environment in their newly opened forth location at 474 River St in Mattapan. 

The DT team wished to include several murals throughout the space to serve as place-making within the new store. They wanted the artwork to communicate their mission, illustrate an appreciation of the Mattapan neighborhood, and create a fun, colorful atmosphere. 

I was given the opportunity to install 4 murals in their space; a gardener greeting you upon entering, a parade of neighbors harvesting giant veggies to accompany your shop, an homage to the historic Mattapan community above the checkout line, and a friendly shopping bag thanking you before heading out.
